Nigerian Musician Macco Fontane burst on the music scene with his first single “Re Up”, which was released in 2017, the song was an instant hit as it topped several radio charts in the city of Calabar and made him the most sort after newcomer by show promoters. After its release he was proclaimed the pioneer of trap music in Calabar by his peers and radio personalities. His critically acclaimed debut EP, Midnight Shenanigans (Time to Explore) (2020) dazzled fans with tracks like “Euphoria,” “King” and “WAVY” — molding a genre unto himself fed by his love for Hiphop/Trap, alternative and more. The definitive project was an ode to all the things that built the foundation of who Macco Fontane is — a genre agnostic creative force to be reckoned with. Alongside the fresh sounds, Macco Fontane also owns a clothing brand "Misfits Boulevard", a music distribution and promotions company “FlipDistro” and when he is not in the studio dropping bars or being a CEO, he is a software developer, which specializes in the building of ERP softwares. He has several projects in the works, but the most anticipated one is his Midnight Shenanigans 2 (Lost In The Vice) EP. His inspirations and creativity are said to be outlandish and daring and with his sudden rise in the music industry, there is no barrier he wouldnt be breaking in the years to come.
