Director Sozo (Umaru Kaye), born in 1995 in Bweyogerere, Wakiso District, is a Ugandan entrepreneur and creative visionary, the founder of Sozo Property Consultants Limited — one of the country’s rapidly rising real estate and lifestyle enterprises. Raised by his parents, the late Ssalongo Ahmed Buule and Nakayenga Margret, Umaru’s early life took a sharp turn when he lost his father at just ten years old. With education becoming a struggle due to financial constraints, young Umaru joined the workforce at an unusually early age.
He began as a street vendor in Bweyogerere, selling small items to support his schooling. In 2017, he officially launched his own real estate venture, which would later evolve into Sozo Property Consultants Limited, fully registered in 2020.

He expanded his operations online, diversifying his business model to meet shifting market demands.
