Born on 28 February, Retro 230 discovered his passion for music at an early age, growing up listening to the rhymes and rhythms of 2pac, Third eye, common and the fugees. His journey began in Secondary school, where he was mostly associated with a duo, Ace Joe & W3YN, and later joined the group Slope slide heroes. Whom they made 2 EPs together.(Constellation & Everything)

Retro 230 has released a series of singles, including notes(available on YouTube only), which have gained him a recognition in the Hip Hop circles.

He have worked with a few renowned artist like Casy P, Andy Arthur and Nzakoh. And a few great producers of our time like Joelz, Bambi, @Karibs, Asie Panda and Gonos just to mention a few.
