INDUNA
Self-taught artist and producer, infuses his Afro-Dance-pop sound with flavours from his South African roots. Born in South Africa, he endured a challenging childhood in the slums of Johannesburg and Limpopo before moving to New Zealand at the age of fourteen.
Music became his solace, inspired by Brenda Fassie's "Nomakanjani," igniting a passion that evolved into a therapeutic outlet for his emotions.

InDuna's musical journey spans a diverse range of genres, including Hip-hop, R&B, and Pop, drawing from his eclectic childhood exposure to various musical styles and his choir participation. His African heritage permeates his music, blending unique vocal and instrumental elements to create a distinct artistic identity.

In recognition of his talent and resilience, Induna was awarded The Young Global Achiever Award at the Prince Trust 2024, an honour celebrated with a reception at Buckingham Palace attended by global founding patron King Charles III.

His creative prowess extends beyond the studio, with notable contributions like "Dreams," a song penned for the documentary film "Ink and Gold: An Artist's Journey to Olympic Glory," which earned Best Original Song at the International Online Web Fest (IOWF).
InDuna's tracks have garnered significant acclaim, with "Dreams" reaching number 6 on the Hot 20 NZ Singles Charts and "All My Love" topping the Dance charts in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

InDuna's live performances captivate audiences, with appearances at prestigious events such as The Performance Arcade, Festival of lights and Newtown Festival, as well as smaller gigs across Wellington and Auckland.
