BassBean, born Chalomba Leonard Sichone on 17, 1990, in Lusaka, Zambia, is a leading figure in the Ragga and Afro-Dancehall scene. Growing up in the vibrant atmosphere of Lusaka, BassBean was immersed in the eclectic sounds of Zambia's music landscape, which heavily influenced his musical journey.

From a young age, BassBean exhibited a natural talent for music, drawing inspiration from local legends such as Daddy Zemus, Danny, and Exile. He began crafting his own unique style, blending traditional Zambian rhythms with the infectious beats of Ragga and Dancehall.
