YFilla is an award nominated hip hop recording of the year from the underground music scene in East Africa, Rwandan artist, born and raised currently based in Halifax Nova Scotia, CA. He’s the founder of We Up Team (WUT) and one of the two Hiphop duo SLEEKKINZ with his brotherhood Sleekk Blaze.

YFilla’s debut EP, JAM MY LIFE, was released in 2017. All original compositions sung in Kinyarwanda and English. YFilla describes his style of music as a mix of sounds across various eras not just a single genre.

YFilla comes forth with his 1st single “Tie Your Shoes” Rapping over heavy trap beat produced by Cesart. YFilla channels his inner self and lets everybody know how he became one of a kind artist to ever touch the mic in the game and what he's prepared to do to keep that top spot.
