Growing up in Thiet Town, Tonj State, South Sudan, Lil Meek DC experienced war and displacement early on. He moved to Uganda, where he started his education and music journey. His older brother, Slate Nation, mentored him and helped him become a better musician.

In 2019, he stepped into the music scene in Uganda and made a name for himself as a battle rapper. His first single, 'His Pain,' struck a chord with fans by addressing personal struggles. Lil Meek DC released his first album, 'Lost and Found,' in 2022, followed by 'Life is Pain' that same year.
