Jephte was born jephte hendrickson blanc on April 24, 1987 in Haiti and lived there until he was 15 years old. His father-a radio host/Journalist and a pastor still live and is very much involve in Haiti. the family economic situations
diminish as the country itself deteriorates. Due to his father’s political
involvement, jephte and his family were constantly being threatened. Fearing for the safety of her family, jephte’s mother sought a better life in America in 2002; while jephte’s father stays devoted to his ministries and political fight. Eventually, the threats increased and culminated with his father being critically shot 5 times and left in a corner to die for speaking out against injustice in Haiti. He miraculously survived the shooting and
continue to speak till this day.

jephte was brought up playing the drums at church as a young child where he
realized he loved all kinds of music. Music and playing soccer in the street became his way of escaping the harsh reality of his world. Playing the drums in church made it easy for him to put his life to a beat that people could physically feel and hear. Through his music and inspiring lyrics, he wants to touch all people regardless of their circumstances, ethnicity and background.

In 2005, jephte begun to understand the language of Hip-Hop and Rap and fell in love with it; He sees it as a form of poetry and therapy. In 2006, he wrote his first song “One step to the left-One step to the right.” The following year he was performing live in South Florida talent shows and the subsequent year in Georgia State talent shows. In 2009, he was invited to perform for Upscale Records at a Hip-Hop artist music convention in Los Angeles, California where he performed live drawing cheers and tears from his excited audience. jephte performed, wrote and recorded more than 60 songs with original lyrics and music scores to date.for booking info and ext call(561) 425-0825 ,(561)460-1153 0r [email protected]
